Synaptics is a pioneer in artificial intelligence (AI) and in human-machine interfaces (HMI). We married the two technologies more than two decades ago, practically inventing edge AI – though only a few researchers were using the term at the time.

- . . 1995 - Touchpad- Launched first notebook PC touchpad- Synaptics launched the first notebook PC touchpad, revolutionizing laptop navigation and replacing the mechanical trackball with a sleek, capacitive interface.
