The new Synaptics Astra SL2610 product line delivers exceptional performance and power efficiency for multimodal compute across IoT devices ranging from smart home appliances, wearables, and smart retail, to robotics, charging infrastructure, and industrial systems. With five pin compatible processor families, it is built for a wide range of AI-native compute solutions from battery-powered and passively cooled devices to high-performance industrial vision systems.
Experience the groundbreaking Synaptics Torq™ Edge AI platform – with the transformer – and CNN capable Torq T1 NPU together with the industry’s first production implementation of the Coral NPU from Google. This integrated architecture allows for dynamic support of new operators, future-proofing Edge AI IoT system design. Torq advances true AI developer freedom by means of a disruptive, an end-to-end compiler and runtime based on the open-source IREE/MLIR projects, supporting both standard and emerging model formats such as LiteRT, PyTorch, ONNX and JAX.

The Synaptics Astra Machina SL2600 Series development kit enables easy and rapid prototyping of multimodal AI-native IoT applications. A flexible design approach supports a core compute module, an I/O base board, daughter cards for integrated Wi-Fi / Bluetooth connectivity, debug, and programmable I/O. The evaluation system supports the Synaptics SL2619 SoC family that delivers unprecedented levels of price performance for the IoT, and enabled via an open, unified software experience built on Yocto Linux. The Machina SL2600 Series is powered by the open-source Synaptics Torq™ Edge AI platform, leveraging the Coral Open NPU subsystem.
