Javier Del Prado

Javier del Prado, joined Synaptics in September 2025, and serves as the Chief Operating Officer. Prior to Synaptics, Javier spent 12 years at Qualcomm, most recently serving as Vice President and General Manager of the Mobile Connectivity Division, where he led a multi-billion-dollar business and drove the connectivity client roadmap. Before Qualcomm, Javier held multiple leadership roles at ST-Ericsson, NXP, and Philips, delivering growth and innovation across a wide range of solutions. He is recognized for building technology-leading roadmaps, driving R&D and operations execution, and shaping strategy across product marketing and sales. His expertise spans Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, Thread, and UWB. Javier holds a Master's Degree in Telecommunication Engineering from Universitat Politecnica de Catalunya (UPC) and a Master's Degree in Telecommunications Networks from Polytechnic University of NY (NYU).
