Embedded Processors for an

SL2600 Series
The new Synaptics SL2610 product line is a family of AI-native Linux and Android™ SoCs built on Arm® Cortex®-A55 and Cortex-M52 with Helium™ cores, transformer-capable NPUs, and 3D GPUs with OpenGL® and Vulkan®. Optimized for edge AI IoT devices, the SL2610 family supports applications from smart appliances and wearables to robotics and industrial vision.

SL1680
The SL1680 incorporates high-performance compute engines, including a quad-core Arm® Cortex®-A73 64-bit CPU subsystem, a multi-TOPS NPU, a high-efficiency, feature-rich GPU for advanced graphics and AI acceleration, and multimedia accelerators for image signal processing (ISP), 4K video encode/decode, and audio.

SL1640
The SL1640 is a cost and power optimized secure embedded SoC with high-performance compute engines including a quad-core Arm® Cortex®-A55, 1.6+ TOPS NPU, Imagination GE9920 GPU with 90 GFLOPS 16-bit operations, Ultra HD video encode and decode pipelines, and audio DSP.

SL1620
The SL1620 is designed and optimized for embedded applications that require powerful processing, advanced AI capability, and 3D graphics. This chip comes with Linux® OS, superior audio algorithms, a variety of peripherals, dual displays, companion Synaptics SoC for connectivity and audio front end.

Software
Astra SL Software SDK is Synaptics' unified software release for embedded development on Astra Machina platforms, tailored for consumer, enterprise, and industrial IoT products. The SDK emphasizes AI-native, multi-modal processing with hardware accelerators for edge inferencing, security, graphics, vision, and multimedia.
Building on popular open-source components and tools, the SDK streamlines development with:
• Upstream Kernel and U-Boot for efficient system bring-up.
• GStreamer for advanced multimedia, camera, and edge AI functionality.
• OP-TEE for a trusted execution environment, and Synaptics’ root of trust for secure boot.
• Yocto build environment for seamless integration of open-source and proprietary packages.

SR100 Family
High-performance AI MCUs with tiered inferencing makes context-aware computing a reality across the smart home, the factory floor, and at work. Astra Machina Micro
The Synaptics Astra Machina Micro dev kit enables rapid prototyping for the Synaptics SR100 Series of high-performance, context-aware, multimodal AI MCUs. The dev kit brings interfaces and IO ranging from qSPI for storage, M.2 for connectivity, digital mics for voice processing, and MIPI-CSI for multiple camera inputs. The SR100 series of MCUs - including SR110, SR105, and SR102 deliver AI-accelerated performance at all power levels in combination with ultra low-power multimodal sensing.
