SAN JOSE, Calif. – June 2, 2016 – Synaptics Incorporated (NASDAQ: SYNA), the leading developer of human interface solutions, today announced its Natural ID™ fingerprint sensors have been selected by ASUS for its flagship ZenFone 3 Deluxe and ZenFone 3 Ultra smartphone series. ASUS chose Synaptics’ one-touch fingerprint authentication for its industry-leading high-performance authentication and its unique security features – key traits for swift smartphone access and secure mobile payments.

ASUS’ flagship ZenFone 3 Deluxe is a full-metal smartphone with an invisible antenna design and offers advanced camera technology. ZenFone 3 Ultra is a Computex 2016 Best Choice Golden Award winner and designed with a 6.8-inch Full HD display. Both smartphones have a built-in Synaptics fingerprint sensor that’s perfectly positioned to authenticate and unlock the phone in just a fraction of a second. The ZenFone 3 Ultra fingerprint sensor is located on the front of the phone, and the ZenFone 3 Deluxe sensor is on the backside.
