Lenovo Selects Synaptics OneTouch™ for Display Controls in New 22 inch Monitor

Hidden capacitive buttons provide sleek look and ease of use

SANTA CLARA, Calif. –August 20, 2008 - Synaptics Inc. (NASDAQ: SYNA), a leading developer of human interface solutions for mobile computing, communications and entertainment devices, announced today that its OneTouch™ capacitive sensing technology is shipping in the new 22-inch Lenovo monitor. The new monitor has a touch-sensitive button interface that enables display controls on the monitor frame as well as an on-screen display.

Using Synaptics OneTouch, the Lenovo 22 inch monitor features six capacitive sensing buttons that provide a variety of simple touch controls to navigate and choose menu options.
